You can book a 30, 60  or 90 minute time only lesson,  we will assess your shooting set up, gun fit, eye dominance and much more.  

Initially, you will need to obtain a GP Proforma certificate from your GP practise or other provider.  Once you have this, you can apply via your local constabulary website.

Yes, The Olympics began in 1896 in Athens, and consisted of only five events.  Since then, the discipline has grown with 15 rifle, pistol and shotgun skeet and trap events at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo with events for both men and women. 

We are a shooting ground that holds a Section 11(6) of the Firearms Act 1968, this allows a non-license holder to accompany a license holder under their guidance and supervision.

If you want to shoot unaccompanied you will need to have a Shotgun License. If you don't, then we can offer a variety of lessons to suit individuals and groups. Just check on our website and send an inquiry or give us a call.  

You will be with an instructor at all times but you will not be with another group of people during your lesson.

Clay Shooting - 12 gauge, 20 gauge or 410 shotgun
Air Gun Shooting - Air Rifle or Air Pistol
Archery - Recurve bow or Crossbow. 

A shotgun uses a cartridge that contains multiple small pellets, fired at moving clay targets.  An air rifle uses an individual pellet, fired at a static target. 

There is no legal age limit, but we recommend that children are over 10 years of age due to physical ability.

Yes, you may bring well-behaved dogs that are kept on a lead and supervised at all times.

Absolutely, although we will require them to wear ear protection.

Please call and pay in advance to make a booking, you can call on the day as sometimes we have cancellations.

As long as we have received notice at least two clear working days before your booking date, there will be no charge.  If you have not notified us within these time frames you will be charged a re-scheduling fee of £15 per person.

The stands are undercover and we have gravelled pathways to provide all-weather shooting. Events and bookings go ahead during all weather conditions, however, if we have to close, then you will be contacted. 

Sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing is recommended.  You will need to wear protective eyewear and ear protection.  We will provide ear protection and sell protective eyewear for £2.50 but if wear prescription glasses or sunglasses you can wear these also.

If there is sufficient time, then you can, however, this is not guaranteed, so please bear this in mind when booking your lesson.

We are located just off J9 of the M42.  Just a short drive from there, you will see a brown sign indicating that you turn right onto Blackgreaves Lane.  Take a short drive down this lane and you will see a Lea Marston Shooting Club board located in our car park, just drive straight in and make your way to The Lodge reception to check in.

We have plenty of on-site parking available.

We have a clubhouse that will be open serving food and hot and cold beverages.

We have a Grade II Listed Georgian Farmhouse available for larger groups and parties, or a pitch for caravanners and campers.

We do, and if you are a member you can use this for free. 

Yes, we have a gun corner showcasing new and pre-owned shotguns for sale.  Should you wish to sell your shotgun please send an email to our office: info@leamarstonshootingclub.com with your telephone number, photos, make, model and serial number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
